In my search for a chimney cleaning service I was so glad I decided on the folks at Tor chimney and fireplace . From the beginning phone call with Alyssa , to the actual service , I was impressed with there professionalism. There lead tech Chritopher and his assistant Tyler handled everything very efficiently from start to finish . They were both extremely neat and very knowledgeable of my product . This company has been fantastic to work with so far! Our chimney cap broke in half due to wind damage. It has been challenging to find a company willing to take on the project since it is a slate roof and lots of safety precautions are needed. Christopher came out to inspect it- wrote up a very detailed report and estimate. He was so friendly, knowledgeable and honest about all the details of the job. I recently purchased my home and loved the idea of having a gas fireplace but was unsure of the maintenance performed by the prior owner. I decided to contact Tor Chimney (recommended by a next-door neighbor) and I was extremely pleased with how responsive and professional they were. Tor Chimeny's staff introduced themselves and started work on inspecting, assessing and cleaning the gas fireplace. They were very comfortable with me tagging along and answering my questions. We are so happy with our two fireplaces. They work well and do everything we need a fireplace to do. Our fireplace space was small and Jonathan worked to help us choose the right option for our space.

Beyond the initial installation, we have received excellent service. Unfortunately at one point a minor part of the fireplace mechanism failed. Thankfully, Jonathan quickly came out within 24 hours, inspected the fireplaces, identified the issue and solved the issue.

I can't say enough good things about Jon. His work speaks for itself! He did an amazing job removing our old half-wall brick fireplace and built this new fabulous stone one as well as the mantle! He is truly a Renaissance Man. He explained everything he would do and followed up with his estimates. He was extremely knowledgeable, meticulous and easy to work with. He also provided sample materials for us to review and made useful suggestions.
If you need a knowledgeable, reliable, and trustworthy craftsman he's your man.
