Three Suns Auto Care

I recently brought my wife's Kia in to assess a hard to diagnose issue with the car. Doug, the owner, scheduled me the same day within hours of calling and spoke with me about the issue in detail over the phone. He was very friendly, polite and personable. When I arrived, he immediately checked the car and took it for a test drive. The building btw is very clean and well maintained and includes a small waiting area. After coming back, he ran a diagnostic check and he and his colleagues pored over the engine to determine the potential cause of our problem. He then explained the issue to me in clear, down-to-earth language and looked up parts to provide an estimate (at no charge) if I decided to pursue a potential fix. There was no selling, just problem solving. Honestly, this was one of the best experiences I have had with an auto mechanic. I would highly recommend using Three Suns for auto service.

I stumbled upon this gem, leaving a dealership in Granite Run. My recently purchased used car was due for inspection and emissions, and they were relatively close and highly rated. So a leap of faith took me to this hidden gem in an unassuming strip of autoshops where I was warmly greeted and well cared for. Relatively new to the Commonwealth, I was brought up to speed on some tips and tricks as they fit me in at the last minute towards the end of their day. All things considered, I considered myself lucky. Their quaint waiting area gives throwback vibes to the MAX! It was endearing and reassuring. It was a well maintained shop, and this sense of caring permeated throughout this shop and certainly in their service. I think anyone who resides in this area or might be in the area would be lucky (their vehicle as well, of course) to be cared for here. The trek from Philadelphia might be a bit of a stretch for auto maintenance in my case, so I'll just count myself lucky for this special treat. Thank you, Three Suns!

I’m not mechanically inclined, so I am always on the lookout for a good car mechanic that won’t rob me blind. I recently asked Doug (the owner) to change the brake fluid on my son’s neglected RAV 4. I was sure it had never been changed. To my pleasant surprise, Doug called and told me he had tested the break fluid at the caliper and at the reservoir and it did NOT need changing. He said it would be a waste of my money to change the fluid.
Call me cynical, but I bet 90+% of mechanics would have unnecessary changed changed the fluid (or say they did) and billed me for their time. Three Suns Auto Care is a keeper in my book.

Doug was very communicative throughout the whole process and explained in detail all of what he was doing and why--which I really appreciated as someone who isn't a "car person." I felt everything was transparent and very reasonably priced. Very satisfied with exceptional service.
