The Gables Cafe Philadelphia

Ordered lunch for pickup and to say I’m impressed is an understatement. Absolutely delicious. The curried carrot soup was one of the best soups I’ve ever had. The chicken salad was fresh and tasty and the au jus was super flavorful. The prices are great and the order was very nicely packed. This will likely be a new favorite place for us!

Every time we try something new it exceeds our expectations! The cheddar biscuit sandwich was so delicious and unique with its onion bacon jam. The pork roll brunch sandwich was even better I was blown away and the roasted potatoes that come with it are to die for. Love this place can’t wait to explore the rest of the menu.

So happy this place popped up near us! We eat here about three times a week. Everything is delicious! Excellent quiche, sandwiches(crispy pineapple glazed pork belly BLT mmm), desserts, thai tea... homemade toaster tarts!! There's always new things popping up on the menu. Staff is super friendly, ingredients are fresh. Hard to stay away!

I live right around the corner and was so excited that such a great Cafe opened so close. Right out the gate great COVID-19 protocols in place protecting customers & ghier staff. The coffee is excellent, the only place in west philly offering Macadamian milk and thier vegan pastries, sandwiches, and food that's on the menu is great. The space is so clean and the decor is so welcoming and grest place to sit and do work as well as being nice and quiet. Great for students who are studying as well. Definitely worth the 5 stars!

As a new employee at USciences, I was beyond excited to see a coffee shop/cafe open so closely to my work! My first day on the job, I stopped in for an iced coffee and it was delicious (and affordable!). Online ordering was a breeze, and I was looking forward to stopping in again.

Fast forward to today, my partner stopped in to pick up breakfast for us. From his account, the owner was kind, personable, and talked to him for a bit while waiting for his order. He came back with our bagels and inside the bag was a sample of one of their delicious treats! It tasted so good, and certainly put a smile on both of our faces.

Safe to say we both will be returning, and this will be my regular coffee spot :) Thanks Gables!
