We really enjoyed the car show and the museum, glad we made it. Got to hold a number 5 Alligator wrench, pretty heavy and made to last. I have a couple of Disston saws, this is sort of the same idea, company town.
Roebling Museum is very interesting.. this town was built for the employees of the steel mill. This museum shows what the mill did for the people who lived and worked there. The tour and video was very informative. A must see if your in the area.
I want to add..I was raised in this town and it is amazing. Please add this to your list of stopping places.
Love seeing the history of the mill and the town and stepping back in time. Just did the historic home tour and it was fantatsic!
For a small museum that is growing, there is a TON, pardon the pun, of information there about the steel workers and the Roebling family's accomplishments. Very easy access and mobility.
We took a large group of special needs adults to The Roebling Museum twice so far. They have a wonderful staff and are very accommodating. Our tour guide, (Caren Cronin), was amazing and customized the tour for each of our groups needs. Caren even modified the hands on bridge building portion of the experience to meet each of our groups abilities. Thank you Roebling Museum for a great day of learning and fun! 🌷
