Riverwalk

I have been living here for two years and it has been a wonderful experience. The staff is very helpful, nice, and quick to resolve any issues that may occur. The grounds are beautiful and are of close walking distance to the main road which has a lot to offer for entertainment.

You cannot beat the location of the apartment complex; right near the intersection of several major interstates and walking distance to the train into the city. However, the last two years they've experienced severe flooding from the Schyukill river that required lengthy repairs that took almost a year to fix (just in time for the next flood). The only support they gave residents at the time of the flooding was free pizza for dinner one night after the floods.

There is open parking on the surface lots which makes it super easy to have guests over, and I really appreciate this. I also like the technology for building access - butterfly app allows virtual keys for visitors, dog walkers, etc. - and Bluetooth access to unlocking your apartment door.

My one-bedroom apartment is the perfect size for one person, but difficult to have more than a few guests over due to the small size. Lots of closet storage space and nice kitchen appliances!

In previous places I've lived, members of the management team knew me by name; not the feeling I get from Riverwalk. It is very impersonal. The amenities are nice and I appreciate that there is only a one time amenity fee rather than a monthly fee like other apartment complexes. I wish there weren't so many rules regarding pool use, but I also understand that limiting guests allows more residents to use the pool. However, I moved in thinking there would be regular events panned for tenants to attend and meet one another, but there have maybe been 2-3 during the entire 2 years I've lived here.

I leased an apartment at Riverwalk for 3 years. Except for some sporadic issues with trash removal and post-flooding restoration of the garages, I would say that the management of the property is doing a good job. Maintenance team is great: all tech requests were completed quickly and efficiently. As for the property itself, it has everything to make you feel comfortable: it's clean, it's safe, the clubhouse renovated in 2020 is really nice, so is the gym. the pool and the grilling area are well maintained. The location has its pros and cons, the pros are def close proximity to the river trail (cyclists and runners - welcome), 2 SEPTA stations nearby, which means you can get to Philly center within 30min if you don't feel like driving, the town center is also close and there're a few nice bars and cafes walking distance from the property. Re cons: 1) since the railway is close, you will be hearing the train noise many times a day if your unit overlooks the rails; 2) flooding - in 2020 and 2021 it was quite bad, since the property is very close to the river.

I have lived at Riverwalk for over 2 years. My apartment has never had an issue and after all of the renovations, my friends at the complex love using the fire pits near the pool. Also, the people in the leasing office are extremely nice. Any time I have an issue or question, they answer it immediately or find someone who can. Lastly, they give my dog a treat every time I come into the clubhouse (Everyday for my morning coffee). 10/10 would recommend living here.

This is a Great place to live and in a perfect location. You can walk to town or roll out of bed onto the SR trail. Love it. The Riverwalk office and maintenance staff are super friendly, professional, and beyond helpful. I want to send a Special thanks to Dave and Brittany who have gone out of there way to help me more then just a few times, assisting me with everything I needed during the past year. You guys are the best, thank you!
