River House at Odette's

Just an exquisite place to stay. The scenery is jaw dropping with the Delaware River right next door and a path for getting around town is well placed with bikes available to guests. The room we had (a suite) was clean, eclectic, and with ample amenities. Microwave, small fridge, fancy lighting (on, “relax”, and off are the options), and extra comfy beds. The bathroom is envy-inducing with classy dark tiles, a rainfall shower, and a deliciously-scented collection of soaps and lotions. This was our first time here and we were definitely “wowed”. My only critique was the price of the food. We had room service as well as brunch and the cost was quite a bit higher than we had expected. Staff were friendly and helpful at all times with great suggestions in town. We’ll definitely be making a return trip to enjoy the luxuries that are offered. Highly recommend this to any and all!

With a caveat I am choosing to revisit my review because I just could not overlook the excellent service extended by everyone at River House.

From before we even arrived, we were appreciative of the effort made to accommodate our needs. Upon arrival the valets were very friendly and extremely efficient throughout our many comings and goings. The Front Desk Staff were very informative and helpful throughout our stay. We were part of a wedding event and the event staff were also great. Always attentive and friendly, but not in the way. Restaurant staff were also excellent and friendly. I'll converse with anyone and I found no one at River House unfriendly or reserved. If you don't tip well here, you just aren't a good tipper.

The visual appeal at River House is immediate and always apparent. It is a beautiful facility and very comfortable with one exception. I found the room furniture to be stiff and uncomfortable. Just my opinion.

My only real dislike was the river side rooms are above and below the bar and the live music, which goes on until 10 p.m. kept me awake after a long day of travel. I would suggest a mountain side room if you want to avoid the noise as much as possible.

Again, a top notch staff of friendly, efficient and helpful folks.

Retuned today for our 1st wedding anniversary. Host went out of his way to give us a better table with view of the river. Made our lunch even more special as we also picked-up a replacement wedding cake. Food and service was excellent! Always enjoy our visits to the RH.

This hotel is amazing! The rooms, lobby, and restaurants were clean and luxurious. The close walk to New Hope makes it easy to get around without a car. The location by the river is beautiful and there is a walking trail right behind the hotel. The staff were friendly and accommodating. I can’t wait to go back!

What a wonderful experience. Drinks and appetizers at the Roof with the beautiful fall scenery, then dinner at Odette’s. The food (especially the crab cakes) was delicious and beautifully served. The staff were warm and welcoming. Special thanks to our servers, Kelly and Dominque, for the attention and conversation. Be sure to save room for dessert, it is exceptional.
