RCA Devon literally saved my life. I’ve been taught tools how to remain sober. I get involved in the alumni events with Julie and Bob and these two keep me in the solution and not in the problem. My life is SO MUCH BETTER because of RCA, Julie and Bob!!!!!!

I wasn't a 1 and done addict. I've been through more treatment centers than I can remember. I can say that each time I stayed with RCA Devon. I was treated with respect , and dignity. The staff truly care. During my stays almost everyone of them had been in my shoes. This is important to someone like me... I trusted them when I trusted nobody. It gave me hope that 1 day I could have what they did. It tool a few tries. But here I am 2 years removed from Drugs and Alcohol. RCA Devon. Bob Gibson and many other's played an integral role in my success. I recommend to anyone.

This was my first experience with a rehab center. RCA really made me feel welcome and heard. I left there with confidence that I would be able to continue with my recovery and have success. The alumni meetings and activities are so important and make me feel like I always have someone to turn to for advice and encouragement. Julie and Bob have been instrumental in making that happen. Right now I am 10 months sober and very happy with my decision to come to RCA. Thank you so much!

RCA is the best decision I have ever made. Their program isn’t just about detoxing and stopping an addiction- it’s about identifying and understanding the root of the addiction. I treasure my stay there- it’s a gift I gave myself. I truly believe they saved my life. I stayed in residential then did outpatient group therapy - great experience from the beginning to my last day there. And you will forever have the support to continue your new journey by becoming part of their Alumni group. They will be there for you forever!

Coming from many years of trying to figure this thing out and multiple different treatment facilities I found that the facility in Devon helped shape my life into what it has become today. The level of accountability for my recovery stems from the fact that while there I was held accountable to myself to attend groups, therapy sessions, and medication times. I could never hold myself accountable in life when life got rough I always gave up. So this was a major step towards what I knew I was going to have to do when I got home.
The medical staff was extremely kind and understood how to make you comfortable enough to get past the initial stages of detox. The clinical staff on my floor where super supportive in dealing with different facets of difficulties I had in previous treatment centers. My counselor in particular was extremely knowledgeable and supportive while being able to see the areas that plagued and blocked me from fully being able to begin to recover fully. He knew all the right questions to ask when dealing with someone who had been in treatment before.
The most important thing that no other facility I’ve ever been to before even mentioned anything about an Alumni organization. Hands down this in early sobriety compounded by the two coordinators Julie and Bob and their overwhelming support and passion to see people succeed is so profound. Being able to feel apart of something on a weekly basis and the events they coordinate to keep people involved plays a major part in getting comfortable with attending meetings and interacting on a sober level. To watch the Alumni go from about 20 people to seeing 60 or so show up to a meeting once a week is amazing especially when it’s much of the same faces and that they come from all different areas close and far.
I can sit here and honestly say that attending RCA in Devon was by far the best decision I could have made and can’t even express how much gratitude I have for this facility and it’s Alumni.
