Pinelands Recovery Center of Medford; Drug and Alcohol Treatment

Pinelands saved my life. One year ago I was broken defeated and slowly dieing. Alcohol had consumed my life and I just couldn’t stop. Without the help I received from the staff there I would not be here today. Bonus, the food is delicious.

I was recently a patient at pinelands which is my 3rd rehab I’ve been too and this was the best place I’ve been to the tech staff was amazing and friendly through out the entire stay. Im not much of a talker in front of people but I was comfortable enough to talk to the staff and in front of the people I was there with, just all around comfort at pinelands. The food was good, the medical staff was amazing and made me as comfortable as they could I love everyone there that helped me truly. I have never had such high hopes of staying clean thanks to pinelands. I do not plan on ever going back (except for alumni nights and other event they may hold) but if it does happen pinelands is the place I’ll land myself again.

Pinelands saved my life. Before I came here, I didn't know how to live a single minute of my life without alcohol. Pinelands give me the tools I needed to move forward in my life substance and self hatred free! I cannot say enough kind words about this rehab center. From the kind staff, the great food, the counseling, supportive groups, and clean and tidy living conditions. I would recommend Pinelands to anyone suffering from substance abuse. They helped me turn my entire life around. Much love ALWAYS!

I was recently a patient at Pinelands, and I am very grateful for the experience that I had. I was an absolute wreck walking into this place, and right away I was embraced with love and compassion by two recovery coaches and a staff tech(Ang, Kyle, and Jimmy) and that really made a huge difference which set the tone for my experience that was to come. I was struggling mentally and emotionally walking through the doors of this facility. Through working with my counselor(Bobby), the psychiatrist(Kristi), all of the small groups that improved my emotional and spiritual growth; by the time I had left I was filled with hope for something better and I was motivated to take on the journey one day at a time. The food was also amazing! I put on a couple of pounds that’s for sure. Out of the several different facilities that I have been to, this one is hands down the best. Since leaving I have kept in touch with the alumni director, Chris P, and that has helped me get settled into my day to day, he always answers and is there for me whenever I need and that has been a bit of a game changer for me to have that additional support. Going to Pinelands was truly a lifetime opportunity for me, and I am forever grateful to everyone there.

I cannot talk about Pinelands without smiling. I feel as though I have been given a second chance at life and it is a direct result of the entire Pinelands team/community. This is a place that educates you in things far beyond your substance abuse and prepares you to better manage your life.

From the moment I arrived, the entire staff was so professional, knowledgeable, compassionate and caring. While at Pinelands, I no longer felt alone or like I was on an island. I didn’t feel judged, I felt safe and understood. The large groups, small groups, individual sessions, nursing/MD appointments, etc., all created an environment of openness and honesty- which allowed me (and all the other clients) daily opportunities to be vulnerable and explain how I was truly feeling, what my goals were, and the tools and strategies to practice and implement, so that I can accomplish those goals, among many other things.

A common theme I heard while at Pinelands (which is 100% applicable to daily life,) is that—you get out what you put in. If you truly want to get better, then Pinelands is where you need to go. If you are on the fence, I strongly recommend reaching out to the admissions team to discuss how you’ve been feeling and determine whether this place is right for you. Personally, I felt as though I hit my emotional rock bottom and I was still scared to death in making the commitment to check into Pinelands, but that first step was the hardest and I can honestly say that it was the best and most rewarding decision I’ve ever made as it saved my life—and I wish the same for you.

Oh, and the campus is beautiful, the facility and accommodations are clean and comfortable, and the food is outstanding.
