I have been going to this practice for the past 7 years as it has always been convenient for me in location. I started seeing a different psychiatrist than I had before there, Dr. Senyk, nearly a year ago. I have had a great amount of success and progress with her. She is highly professional and cautious in regards to prescribing medications. She sincerely cares about the safety, well-being, and feelings of her patients. I feel she listens and greatly considers your input in every treatment decision she makes. She makes sure you are comfortable with any changes she is considering. She does not just throw scripts at you and kick you out of her office like I have experienced before. She gets to know about you and your life on a personal level with genuine interest.

I have seen psychiatrists in the past before who let you have too much control of medications and will over-prescribe controlled substances. If you are a pill-seeker or believe you know what’s best for you without an educational background in psychiatry, you will probably not be happy. I feel like that is the basis for many of these poor reviews, especially in this privileged area. They have the utmost professional standards and are ethically grounded.

While I think they need some changes in accessibility in regards to speaking directly to staff and scheduling appointments, Dr. Senyk and my therapist, Catherine, are the best, most personable professionals I have seen.
