Pete really knows the game and he can teach YOU! As a novice he provided a strong foundation on which I've been building. My husband has played for years yet Pete provided value on how to improve his game. So whether you are a beginner or experienced, Pete can identify best ways to excel. Plus Pete is personable and a straight shooter, which make it a pleasure to work with him. Definitely great value but most importantly the learning experience is awesome!

I took three shots with an 8 iron and he knew exactly what I was doing wrong. He is the man. Thanks Pete.

I looked at a few different instructors when I decided to take lessons this year. I was initially skeptical of Pete's golf academy being at a driving range and the prices. There are lessons in the area that are over $40 a lesson more, I was wondering if you get what you pay for here. The first thing I will say is you need to talk to your potential instructor first. Pete has a no BS approach, he will not sugar coat anything and it seems hard to rattle him. If I asked a question, he would not answer it, but lead me down a path to learn it myself. That was huge. I consider myself a student of the game (albeit a novice) and quickly learned many things I wouldn't have with me if I was made to think it through. He was very analytical on my swing issues and even got me swinging a driver which I never even carried. To say Pete has but me on track to a much better game is an understatement. I started this year happy to shoot under 120. I currently have my best round of 87 (+13) on an 18 hole and 42 (+6) on a 9 hole. I am driving the ball with a 48% fairways hit rating and 46% GIR. My confidence in my clubs is improving and I am at the point where I will be adding another package of 10 lessons to "my bag" to tweak.

The thing that most impressed me about Pete was his silence. He was not here to change me, merely adapt me. We worked on swing, tempo and getting my swing path down. Using a box and a noodle we changed a slice to a nice little draw. I hit a few balls, then changed a little bit on grip and stance. Alignment is now my only major issue and that is getting better. My goal this year was to get myself into a place to get my game to a single handicap rating.

There are many places in this area to spend you money on lessons, and I am happy I decided to go with Pete, his personality and teaching philosophy matches my goals and style in step. The lessons taught by Pete are ones that will stay with me forever, on top of that at the bargain price of $350 for 5 lessons it is a must have! You can't even get a good driver for that much! Pete's lessons are well worth the money, you won't be disappointed! I can hardly wait for my daughter to be old enough to start swinging a club so she can take lessons with him!
