Neshaminy State Park

Nice little state park along the Delaware River.

Has paved and un-paved walking trails through fields, forest, along the river, and more.

There's an extensive pool area with diving boards and slides that you can pay for in the summer.

Popular place for outdoor parties, with plenty of parking, rentable picnic pavilions, charcoal grills and picnic tables, but no alcoholic beverages are allowed.

Swings, a playground, volleyball pit, huge fields, and more for kids.

There's even a small sandy/stone shoreline along the river (at low tide especially) for throwing rocks, etc. but watch for some glass occasionally.

Great park for walking. Stroller friendly. Clean and peaceful. Ample trail options; take a different path each visit

This beautiful park 🌳 is located in Bensalem Pennsylvania within Bucks County and borders the Delaware river. One of my favorite things about this park is the river “ beach 🏝 “ . If you can’t always get to the ocean, you can enjoy the scenic river waves, sand and view of Philadelphia across the water . There is also a pool 🏊🏼‍♀️, hiking / walking 🚶‍♀️hiking🥾and running 🏃🏾‍♀️trails along with expansive picnic 🧺 and beautiful green recreational areas.

Nice place to go if you like being around water and nature.....this place also has a pool (cost $$$- check website) and picnic benches along with public barbecue grills and play grounds for kids.

This scenic PA state park overlooks the Delaware River and offers a great variety of outdoor experiences. We enjoyed walking along the beach-like sandy shore with our pup.There are meadow, tidal marsh and forest areas you can explore in a 1-2 hour hike. The trail is mainly flat and well-groomed or paved. There's a young forest planted by the Phila Eagles and abundant wildlife, from butterflies to birds. For families, there are 2 playgrounds, picnic areas you can reserve and a large pool. The park is dog friendly.
