Nagpuri Saoji

We drove over an hour to try Nagpuri Saoji and it was totally worth it. The food was absolutely delicious and we loved everything we tried.

Chicken sukka will probably be my favorite and would highly recommend ordering that for appetizer. Tarri Poha was pretty good too. Chicken Saoji was good but Mutton Saoji was even better ..meat was beautifully cooked and was very tender. We paired the entrees with roti and garlic rice which worked very well.

Service was excellent and we felt like home especially with food being served in stainless steel plates. We can't wait to come back and try more.

Amazing experience!!! The food was delicious and as close as it can get to the authentic nagpuri Saoji. We were pleasantly surprised to find this gem and it did complete justice to our expectations. We started off with Tarri pohe and Tarri samosa with the spice level set to “ Nagpur tej”. The Tarri was flavorful and perfectly made. Topped with farsan and a side of chopped onions. We also tried goat kaleji, which was great as well. For the mains we got chicken Kheema, bharli vangi, mutton saoji and jowar bhakris. All the dishes were spicy and flavorful. The bharli vangi was slightly uncooked and a little tough but the traditional peanut stuffing was superb. We finished with a glass of creamy, soulful “soulkadhi”. Our stomachs were full but the tastebuds wanted more. The staff was very friendly and provided quick service. Will surely be back to try the rest of their items!

We travelled 1.5 hrs just to try food here and it was worth it! We ordered Aaloo Bonda Rassa, Mutton Kaleji, Anda Masala in appetizer which was delicious. In main course, we ordered Mutton gravy, keema and Patodi Rassa. All these were really tasty. Puran poli was also delicious. Restaurant owner is very humble and friendly. Would love to visit again.

We ordered a lot of food here - started with a solkadi, tarri pohe and tarri samosa. Solkadi was decent - I felt it was watered down a bit. Tarri pohe and samosa were good too. Then, for the main course, we ordered Egg curry and saoji mutton. The Saoji masala was awesome and so was the Egg curry and mutton. We then washed down the food with their paan. All in all good food.
