We are proud parents of 2 children who currently attend MPRCS. We initially came for kindergarten but we never left! We fell in love with the sense of community, the talented and caring teachers and staff, the academics, and the great array of extra-curricular opportunities for our kids. We have seen our daughter and son's confidence grow by leaps and bounds at MPRCS, as well as their enthusiasm for learning. They love the school, their friends, and their teachers. They love taking music lessons at school, working in the science lab, having their own iPads, being on stage for the annual spring play, and more. MPRCS is simply the best! - Tina O'Rourke, January 2016

My husband and I have 3 girls at Mother of Providence in Wallingford, PA and couldn't be happier.

We relocated from CT for work and looked at towns/schools on the MainLine/DelCo area. The WSSD school system in Wallingford/Swarthmore had a wonderful reputation.

After discovering Wallingford - we were initially looking for a school with an all day Kindergarten for our younger kids. Mother of Providence had that and more. The school strikes a wonderful balance of academics, community and catholic education in a very supportive, loving and fun way. Moving to a town with great public schools, we then thought long and hard about sending our kids to a private school from an academic & financial perspective.

I like the community feel that the small school brings without sacrificing opportunities such as music & drama, technology and athletics. In the end, our decision was the right one for all of our kids.

Mother of Providence is a wonderful place! It is warm and nurturing and my two children have thrived. Mother of Providence is like a family and I couldn't be happier with my experience. My oldest is now in 9th grade and is exceling; she was prepared very well for the jump to High School. There is an open house on January 31st...if you're looking for a great option for your child that provides an excellent education in a strong faith based environment, check out Mother of Providence.

We first enrolled our oldest at MPRCS when full day preschool became available. Our reasons at the time were very practical: we belonged to the parish, there was afterschool care available to accommodate our dual full-time schedules and the tuition was way less than what we were paying for day care!

Today, all of that remains true, but 3 kids and 5 years later we remain at the school for the strong community and values. Not only have our kids found good friends in the school, but we have found good friends in their parents. MPRCS families are extremely engaged in their kids' lives and committed to raising their kids with values similar to ours.

I feel good about sending my kids here. They come with stories about their day and are happy. I really like seeing how my kids are not only part of their class but the greater school community. Very intentionally, "big kids" and "little kids" have the chance to interact with each other. This is something that you don't get in every school and I think the positive effects of this are fantastic. Older kids are held up as role models. When you walk down the hall, kids of all ages stop and hold the door for you. Younger kids learn by watching how to be helpful, polite and respectful.

The academics are strong and the staff is fantastic. Teachers are extremely experienced and very strong communicators overall. I feel like my kids are being engaged and challenged by their work in a very supportive and nurturing environment.

And the extras! The drama club, violin lessons, piano lessons, sea perch, cyo sports... all stellar programs run by parents and teachers who are willing to volunteer their time. This is where we have really had the opportunity to connect with other families and make the strong memories of our kids' childhoods.

We relocated to Wallingford from TX and visited a number of schools in the area. At the time we were only looking for a pre-K program, but we were immediately impressed by the faculty and staff, the programs offered in the school, and the strong community of involved and caring parents. Almost a decade later, I'm proud to say that my three oldest children (1st grade, 3rd grade, 7th grade) are all enrolled at MPRCS and thriving there.

The school has top notch teachers and programs, is a technology leader in area schools (iPads and Smartboards from 1st thru 8th grade), has small class sizes, great clubs and enrichment programs, and a wonderful mentorship/tutoring program that allows the older children to work with the younger children. My children have enjoyed the academic, spiritual, extracurricular, and athletic programs, and we're thrilled with our choice of elementary school.

We have been welcomed into a fantastic group of caring, involved parents that are truly involved in creating an environment that builds the character of the children in the community. MPRCS is a special place, and my family is proud to call it home!
