Mercer Meadows

Mercer Meadows is a nice mostly flat stretch of land to walk around, get some exercise and observe nature. In the spring, summer and fall is when wildlife and flowers are at their best. In the winter, it's mainly flst land with manicured open fields. If you are looking for a place to walk and get some steps in, this is the place. I wouldn't recommend it as being a typical park for kids. There are no slides, signs, etc at this place. For that type of a park, I'd recommend Rosedale Park, Mercer County Park or Veterans Park. There are public restrooms at Mercer Meadows and a few picnic tables with a Pavillion for cover.

This place has been on my bucket list for years. And finally I got to explore. It took me the whole day but I was able to see the observation tower, insect walk and all the trails. This was after the storm but it was not muddy at all. Great for flat lane walks or jogs.

We took our dogs for a walk here - flat, easy but charming walk. Mix of shade and open spaces, so suggest planning accordingly with plenty of water on hot, sunny days

Great park with options to connect to Rosedale Park, the Lawrenceville Hopewell trail, the Mercer county equestrian center and more! Pathways are paved, covered in pea gravel, crushed stone, or grass. Lots of options. Benches are throughout the park as well as bird blinds and an observation tower. The park is peppered with lots of historical displays and educational photo boards. It's a great place for birding, biking, walking, just getting outside. Highly recommend.

Great place to walk and take in the forest and meadows. It a great way to de-tox from the office. =) Plus you are quite likely to see deer or other creatures such as rabbits, squirrels, all different kids of birds. There are trails you can enjoy for 20 minutes, or others that will you coukd spend the whole day on. Highly recommended.
