Mater Ecclesiae Parish

Mater is an awesome place. We don’t refuse entry to those who are wearing shorts but we make it clear that shorts on men are inappropriate and too casual for the house of God and should not be worn. Jesus was in rags on the cross but now he reigns as King of Heaven and earth. We are to dress in church with basic dignity and respect for the House of God.
If you need a pair of long paints, ask for them and we’ll get you a pair. There is no other organization on the face of the earth that does more to help the poor than the Catholic Church.

I love the tradition of the TLM! There is reverence for Our Lord, all the Sacraments are meaningful and traditional. Every word, every hand movement...all have a purpose. The homilies are meant to teach the Faith. It's a wonderful and blessed place to attend Mass.

I was, possibly 3 or 4 years old when the Mass was changed to Novus Ordo. I had been longing to go to the Latin Mass for years, but finally went to my first Mass at Mater Ecclesiae on the Feast of the Epiphany. Since then, no other Mass suffices.

This Church that celebrates the Tridentine Mass daily is a real Oasis. A wonderful lively Parish holding true to orthodox Roam Catholic Tradition and teaching. They offer confession every day 15 minutes before Mass during the week and 30 minutes before Mass on weekends. This Church is truly Catholic. If you want to go back to what was always good and true within the Catholic Church, then I would highly recommend you come here. It will encourage and increase your Faith. if only more Parishes would offer the Tridentine Mass, I do believe the Faith of its members would increase.
