My Aunt was admitted to ManorCare for short term rehab. Overall the place was always clean with a good vibe unlike other rehab facilities I've been. The staff were always welcoming but one particular nurse stood out. If I didn't know better I would have thought Heidi was taking care of her own family member. She was professional, accommodating, stern when needed (my aunt can be a bit stubborn) but showed great empathy as well. She was extremely friendly and would always meet my Aunt with a smile and her wonderful, bubbly personality. I could tell she truly enjoys working with seniors. She was perfect for what my Aunt needed at the time. Every now and again, my Aunt jokes about injuring herself "just to see that sweet Heidi again." I have recommended this place to a few friends and family that needed care. My family appreciates the true professionalism of ManorCare and their staff.
