Local Tavern (Terminal F Hub)

Really good food and for the price you would pay at a nice restaurant outside of an airport. A lot of the negative reviews seem to not understand how this airport functions in the way that every single restaurant here has the same ordering system, a tablet that asks you to scan the qr code in order to place your order. Every restaurant in the entire airport is like that and it’s extremely easy to use/figure out (since it instructs you on how to do it). Not sure why people blame the restaurant on how the airport decided to make their system run but the restaurant is excellent!

This place was nice and clean conveniently located at Midway through terminal F and the service was outstanding! Great visit and I will be back ! Also they have a no contact ordering system which is pretty cool and you will need to pre pay for you order, not sure if you can pay in cash but you are prompted to add card info at check out on the system.

The Local Tavern in the airport offers a great atmosphere for airport dining. It was like sitting in a swanky cellar, as it was kind of dark with soft lighting. The ordering process is a little awkward but easy to do. The drinks are a little pricey, but the food was good. I liked that It was situated at a hub in the airport with easy access to different terminals.
