Liberty Spine Care: Dr. Steven Valentino

I’ve never done one of these, but today was my very first appointment with Dr.Valentino and I am compelled to share my experience. I was referred to him by my back doctor because I’ve exhausted all conservative treatment for my Lumbar Injury and due to instability and progressive pain a spinal fusion is being recommended. I have been battling with this Injury since 2017. I was extremely anxious today and was worried that nothing could be done as I have been disregarded by other physicians. After 2 1/2 years of many appointments, therapies, and procedures Dr. Valentino has made me confident that I will feel better and that my quality of life will improve. From the second he walked into the room he made me feel comfortable and cared for. He looked me in the eye, validated what I feel, and expressed his understanding of my frustration of all I have been through. He actually went over my images with me and showed me what was going on which made it so much easier to accept that I need surgery. He took his time with me and patiently listened to my questions and answered honestly. This may not seem important to many but it’s everything to me. Living in constant pain for over 2 years has done a job on me but to finally know that there is an end in sight has given me hope!

Love Dr. Valentino and his staff. Been seeing him for two months for a work related injury and I thought I would never work again and be stuck on disability but now I know I am ready to go. Ready to work and live without pain. Love the staff. You can tell they love working for such a fine doctor.
