Lansdale Tavern

The Lansdale Tavern has been my favorite neighborhood hangout since I moved here. The cuisine is excellent for a very fair price, and the staff is really nice. Throughout the pandemic, the new owners have put in a lot of effort to upgrade the settings and menu. They've assembled a top-notch staff that looks out for their customers, created delectable weekly specials, and have a seasonal cocktail menu in place to keep things interesting. It's ideal for both a quick meal and a night out, as well as everything in between. Never have I been let down.

I’m from California, but I was visiting a friend in Lansdale this past week. He’s mentioned the Tavern so many times before; I knew I had to check it out. The second I walked in, I loved it! From the vibe and decor, to the staff, to the food, this place is awesome! And the buffalo chicken dip is 🤩 Kudos to everyone who helped make my two visits to the Tavern so memorable. I’ll definitely be back. Until then, I asked my friend to save me a seat at the bar!

Really nice tavern to try. My husband and I had lunch. We sat outside where they have nice patio tables with umbrellas.
Food was delicious. I had the tuna salad sandwich on wheat with fries.
Menu has a nice variety of food and drink options.
I thought the price for the food was a little high. I would still go back there.
Staff was very friendly and quick with service.
Location is on a main road so there is a lot of traffic out front if you sit outside.
There is off street parking but that gets filled quickly.
Ambiance is good.

Different cheesesteak #1007 in the last four years. It’s a bar so Amigo Dan was with me. The guy at the bar next to me got the Spicy Pickle Burger. The bartender said it was the most popular burger. It looked like their Fried Spicy Pickles and cajun horseradish aioli on top of a cheeseburger. I asked if they would put some Fried Spicy Pickles and cajun horseradish aioli on a cheesesteak. Bartender said no. We got the Tavern Cheesesteak. It was small but very flavorful and cheesy. It comes with a side. We got the sweet potato fries. They were very good. We got the Fried Hot Pickles appetizer. They were very good.

The Lansdale Tavern has been my favorite local spot since I moved into town. The staff is incredibly friendly and the food is outstanding for a very reasonable price. The new owners have worked hard throughout the pandemic, making improvements to the environment and the menu. They have assembled a quality team that takes care of their customers, create delicious weekly specials, and have implemented a seasonal drink menu that keeps things interesting. It’s the perfect place for a quick bite, a night out, and everything in between. I have never been disappointed.
