Lakeside Collision CARSTAR

My car was rear ended and had extensive rear end damage. The other persons insurance company originally had our vehicle going to another big name collision center, but it was going to be a two week wait before they could even tow it over there, to be looked at. They asked if we would be ok going to Carstar Lakeside, we were unsure at first, but it turned out to be the best decision we made. They provided us with a complete break down of everything that was going to be done, they provided us almost daily updates and emailed us updated photos of the progress to our car. After a month we finally got our car back and it looks as good as new, they did a fantastic job and would highly recommend them to anyone that needs repairs to their vehicle.

My car was rear-ended and had a good amount of damage. Lakeside's communication was outstanding with me, keeping me updated with pictures of my car in various stages of disassembling and the building back up. To see my car during the repair process helped keep my anxiety levels low. The staff was very responsive to my inquiries. My car looks great. I am grateful for the work they did. My car was nice and clean—both inside and outside—when it was returned to me. Would highly recommend them for auto repairs.

It was a great customer experience from start to finish! Daily updates of my repair process were shared via email. They arranged for the pick up and drop off of my rental car right at the shop making everything super convenient. Friendly customer reps!

Never someone wants to deal with having their car in a collision but when you come to lakeside collision they will do everything to make you happy.

Even with the horrible situation we have today of getting parts. They did absolutely every possible way to get me everything I needed for my truck. When they did this it was a long process because of supply chain issues but when they did the work it was perfect. The truck came out at shop almost like it was before the accident. But now it has a beautiful paint job and it was completely detailed all way around. There was a small little issue with an replacement component but the owner came out quickly with me. Reviewed it situation. Try to fix it but had to keep it additional day. When he fixed it the next day I was able to pick it up and you would have never known it was an issue.

The best part about this shop is is like a family here and they stand by everything they do.

Needed to have a fender repaired from a parking lot hit and run - out of pocket.

I chose Lakeside for three reasons:

1 Prior experience with another
vehicle they repaired years ago.

2 They were able to fix the fender (which the other shop said they couldn't do )
without having to touch the factory
paint on the door and hood (something the other shop wanted to do) which
told me they are competent. Most
important reason!

3 Their work is recognized by my
insurance company.

This was my second estimate and was $600 less than the first one I got, but price aside, I wanted a flawless repair as I am very picky about my vehicle. Even before receiving the estimate, I knew I was going to have Lakeside do the repair after speaking with the estimator - regardless of price.

The metal (fender) work looks GREAT and the body panel lines look good. There is only one minor blemish on the front fascia (which was part of the repair), but it is very, very, small and trying to "touch it up" would probably cause further imperfections. Again, probably just being too picky.
