June Hines Pilates

I studied Pilates with June for many years, until 2007 when I moved to Baltimore. June is an amazing teacher (And a lovely person.)!
I now study Pilates at Goucher College.

June Hines is awesome! I have been working out with her for a couple of years now and my posture, flexibility and strength have very much improved. Because June knows and understands the exercises so well, and because she pays attention, when I walk into the studio she can see what set of exercises will be best for me that day. So when I work out with June the exercises in the session are working with my body rather than forcing my body to push through the exercises. It really makes the work out enjoyable. June herself is also a very nice person with a sense of humor. I will enthusiastically recommend June Hines.

I have been receiving Pilates instruction at June Hines Pilates Studio for the past 5 years. During this time my posture has improved substantially. I stand up straighter and do not hunch forward or cave my chest in like I use to. I owe my improved posture to June Hines and the wonderful team of instructors and apprentices that work with her. I have had the privilege of receiving instruction from June and all the instructors in the two studios. They are all experts at Pilates. I trust them to help me maintain and improve my body while avoiding injury. June is one of the kindest and most caring people I have ever known. Because of her, the atmosphere in both studios is pleasant and fun.
