Iron Dragon Martial Arts Academy

My 7-year-old son started attending Iron Dragon a few months now and he LOVES it! Before attending, my son began to have behavioral issues at home and school. His guidance counselor suggested an extra-curricular activity and my first thought was Martial Arts because its foundation teaches discipline, confidence, a positive mindset, and positive affirmations. Plus, it's good to have your kid learn how to protect themselves.

I noticed the change in my son's behavior and mindset almost immediately! Master Santos is a great instructor and has kids of all ages. He is very stern and expects his students to respect the craft and take it seriously, which is exactly what I was looking for in an instructor. He just advised me yesterday that there is a special: Parent(s) can attend and take classes with their child at a discounted rate. My son currently attends for 1 hour 3 days a week. The prices are the best in the area, also.

Other notables: The dojo is clean, in a super convenient area, plenty of parking, and the other parents are cordial and friendly.

I am very pleased with this martial arts academy. It's affordable, clean and in a good location. My son has been going here since June and has made great progress in the class, we've decided to stay on for one year commitment. The instructor is pleasant and professional and makea time to communicate and explain things to the parents. He's doing great things with the students childrenand adults. I like the structure and discipline. If you are looking for something constructive for your children to do this is a great place to start with in the community. I would like to see more email communication or a newsletter of some sort that displays what techniques they're learning. And how and when they will be tested tobmove up to the next belt. Otherwise, I am happy.

My son has been coming here for a few months. I enjoy watching the progress he is making with every lesson. Master Santos takes time to help him do the correct moves. My son looks forward to Fridays when he gets to Spar with the other kids. This past week he enjoyed the drills and kicks. Master Santos made sure that each student was able to complete their kick before moving on to the next student. The repetition helps my son gain confidence. My son enjoyed that Master Santos made the lesson fun for them. Having the mix of discipline and fun is a great combination for all kids.

Our kids really enjoy going to this school for martial arts! They look forward to attending every week as they have made new friends and really enjoy the art. The school also enrolls younger children (ages 3 and up) and they are very patient and understanding when they work with them. I would definitely recommend especially if you are like me and are looking for something that will take your kid's energy and turn it into something productive and beneficial for their life.

My kids have been coming for about two months and they love it. Master Santos and the other instructors are so patient and kind. I wish I knew about this place when I was growing up here. I would recommend this school to anyone who is thinking about having their kids join a martial arts school.
