(July 23, 2021, 10:53 am)Hoy Park has a nice fishing pier which was recently redone with an information panel on what's swimming out there. The park is a confluence between two branches of a river - one side is shallow and nice for wading and the other side is deep and good for boating. There is a boat launch here but be careful since it launches into the shallow side and it's actually about a foot above the water line. The boat launch is not suitable for powered boats or boats which cannot be carried. It is a great location for kids to paddle around in though!
