Howell Living History Farm

Step back into the late 1800s at this farm. Saturday is the best day to go where they do seasonally appropriate activities as would have been done in farm life. You can also get lunch there at an affordable price. Great way to learn about farm animals and see chickens, work horses, and things like wheat threshing and ice harvesting and maple syrup tapping depending on when you go. Highly recommend. Sweet little gift shop too. We have been taking our daughter there periodically for 6 years since she was about 4. She learns something new every time she visits. And so do us adults too!

Took my children to learn about maple syrup and was blown away at how friendly and informative the program was. Definitely worth the per-person fee, and we were able to sample pancakes and syrup!

Now that we've visited, we will be back for other programs that they offer.

What a great couple of hours to spend with my Granddaughter. If your looking for something to do don’t hesitate to drive to Howell Living History Farm. What a wonderful couple of hours spending on the farm walking around and visiting with the sheep, pigs, horses and chickens. A beautiful non stressful couple of hours with nature and those you love. The employees are amazing and the little gift shop small but great farm items to buy like their honey. There is no charge but I definitely leave a donation every time I go. We went to the 4H fair this weekend and it was so much fun. Thank you for a great day and so many other memorable days to remember.

Big farm with horses, pigs, chicken, roosters, lambs and cows. There are long walking trails with lots of places to sit and a beautiful garden. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, would definitely go again 10)10

One of my favorite places to visit. Educational, relaxing, friendly staff/interns. The programs are great, you can watch or even help at times, various farm tasks being completed without the help of modern machinery.
