House of Byrne

Need a really cool gift? Or something fun and different for yourself? You should definitely check out House of Byrne. I got one of their stainless steel orbs with an S hook and I’ve had a blast moving it around the house and using it in different ways! For a while in the summer I had some fun trailing annuals in the center of the orb. Now it’s inside and filled w Christmas lights! It’s beautifully crafted, and it won’t rust - a big plus- (although the large outdoor spheres are cool too with their patina). Josh and Lisa are skilled craftspeople, and super nice folks to deal with! More good reasons to support a small US based business.

Lisa and Josh custom made a shoe rack for me, sized to fit exactly in a specific space and fit my shoes. It's wood and tubular steel, and so freakin' cute I feel badly about keeping it in the closet. Highly recommend these guys, their design and creation work is excellent.

I’ve had quite a few of Lisa and Josh’s pieces on my wish list so I was very pleasantly surprised when I received one of their custom table torches as a gift. It’s absolutely beautiful and you can tell the torch is very well crafted. It puts out a much bigger flame and provides more warmth than I anticipated. Lisa and Josh are awesome! We met them at our local farmers market and loved their work. We were having our kitchen remodeled and needed some stools for the end of our island. They worked with us every step of the way to design the perfect stools that work with our space and style! We chose some bold designs and colors and they were very supportive of our non-traditional choices - resulting in absolutely beautiful - and comfy! - stools! The quality is unmatched - so much better than anything you’d get in a mass produced store. Plus we have one of a kind stools that double as art!

I have a couple House of Byrne products around my house and all get a ton of compliments. You can tell they are handcrafted by a true professional who takes a lot of pride in their work. They are also make great housewarming gifts for friends! I truly believe the best part about them, is getting to catch up with them when ordering (also-can’t wait to stop in their new shop!).
