House of Biryanis and Kebabs Norristown PA

Great experience. Food tasted great and portion size was decent. For the first time I tried vegeterian appetizers here as I was in mixed company. We ordered the following:
1. Chicken sukka- Nicely prepared with tender chicken pieces.
2. Gobi manchurian- Crispy and spicy. Was a bit salty though.
3. Paneer Tikka- Made with fresh paneer and cooked well.
4. Tandoori chicken- Average. Little undercooked.
5. Uluvacharu Biriyani- This is a gem of biriyani and was prepared almost authentically. Don’t miss it.
6. Goat Mughalai- Too much cream and very sweet. Not worth the money.
7. Veg kothu porota- I didnt try it but by friend said it was average. Tasted okay with raita.
8. Boneless chicken biriyani- you can never go wrong with this.. Always great.

One major disappointment was unavailability of masala dosa!!

We ordered Egg Dosha as they didn’t have most of the South Indian dishes printed on the menu. Unfortunately the dosha weren’t as we expected. Rest of the food was great. I must say the server was very helpful and friendly.

Plenty of Parking, Easy to access location.

Food: We had over all good experience, except one item.
Seating: Plenty of room for bigger group.

RestRoom: Clean and Organized.

Service: They really did good job serving food and Listening our choices and making really good food. One item we had complained about they took care of us and did not argue back. Food presentation was amazing.

Excellent food. Natu kodi soup was well cooked, pieces are tender and soup tasted like homestyle recipe, could taste and feel all the authentic Indian traditional spices. Goat Sukha tasted good but it had the raw masala taste, requested to re-stir to get the masalas well cooked, without denying they agreed to do so to make the dish well done. Chana masala was homestyle again, nice medium spices. Naans are fresh. They had meeta paan which was fresh and best thing to eat after the meal. Friendly staff, very pleasing. Restrooms are neat but need regular intervals check. Restaurant had good parking area. Good ambience.

We came here for our anniversary and the food is very very delicious.The staff Kiran is very very suggestive and helpful. She suggested spring rolls for our kids , they absolutely love the item . Thank you so much for tasty foods.
