Hoffman DiMuzio

I was involved in a major car accident where I was broadsided on my driver side door by a commercial van that ran a stop sign. The vehicle was carrying 16 people. My injuries were serious, so not only was I traumatized by this event but my beloved dog was killed in the accident, which was very difficult for me to cope with.

After a couple days in the ICU I decided it was time to call a lawyer to help me deal with this. I have used the law firm of Hoffman DiMuzio in the past and was very satisfied with the results so it took me all of 10 seconds to know who to call. Within an hour or so after my call I was visited by James Taylor who patiently answered my numerous questions and immediately put my mind at ease. Both Jim and his paralegal Denise Santagata were very helpful and accommodating once I was out of the hospital, promptly answering any questions I had. I will say the settlement I received was way beyond what I was expecting due to this firm’s experience and negotiating skills.

I found Hoffman & DiMunzio to be a honest law firm. The senior partner Mr. Joe Hoffman was patient and listened to my legal dilemma. Without bias he recommended that I stay with the original law firm that that submitted my case to the judge. He even knew of my law firm with good review and he gave his honest opinion of how he agreed that his firm would had handled my matter too. More law firms need to follow Hoffman and DiMunzio's lead to have more ethical practices vs. telling new clients anything just to get the client's money when their case might be lost or weak. I had a great experience with Hoffman DiMuzio and staff and would highly recommend him to others. I already started to recommend him to my family and friends. Typically, I don't have the best experience with lawyers. It's rare you will come across a lawyer that is friendly/personable and not in a hurry to get off the phone. Hoffman took the time to really listen and understand my situation. He provided advice that I really needed to hear along the way. He appeared to be interested and sympathetic to my situation. I was also very impressed by the systems the office had in place that made it easy to complete the in take form and schedule a call. I love when I receive a calendar invite for a scheduled meeting. This let's me know the meeting is booked and it reduces the chances of both parties missing the meeting. I was also impressed with the follow-up I received. Hoffman took the time to craft an email reiterated what we discussed and provided great advice. Most lawyers won't even return your call if they feel there is not a case. The fact that Hoffman was still willing to get on a call with me is admirable.

I grew up in Franklinville where Hoffman DiMuzio's office (one of their many offices) is located so whenever you needed legal advice or representation, that's where you went, and you were always satisfied. Your grandparents went there, your parents went there, so it was almost a rite of passage that you went there too. Now I know why they keep generations of families as clients. Fast forward twenty years and I still go there, and I am still always satisfied. When purchasing my home and receiving that thick 50-page contract, I panicked because I didn't know what any of it meant, who did I call? Hoffman's office, and of course they helped me, and it was smooth sailing. My family and I were recently in need of legal advice again and who did I run to? Hoffman's office, he guided me every step of the way. Joe Hoffman is not your average attorney he cares about you, truly cares and it almost feels like a "dad figure" is guiding you through every step of the way instead of your typical lawyer. His secretary, Lisa, she is just the sweetest and is excellent at her job, she is knowledgeable and when she tells you she will do something, she does it. Everyone in his offices is just the best, they care about you, they care about the outcome of your situation, and they would never steer you wrong, they really put you first.
