Yes, back then we road the big yellow bus. Each bus had a picture of some type of animal, so that we would remember which bus to catch. A brilliant idea!
My teacher looked like Sally Starr.
Sally Starr I showed cartoons. Sally Starr looked like a cowgirl...outfit and hat.
I know most people will not have a clue who Sally Starr was. Lol!
I am so sorry I don't remember my teachers name. I don't know if she's still alive. I am 63 years old now. And there's not a year that goes by that I do not think of her. I Thank God for her. She saved my life. I was being abused at home and I believe her heart knew. She was loving, kind, a very caring and Godly person .
I am writing this because it is honor your favorite teacher month.
