Hands Together Piano Studio

Ms Cheryl at Hands Together Piano Studio is hands down the BEST PIANO teacher EVER! I am an adult student and have only been taking lessons with Ms C for about a year now. Honestly, words cannot describe how awesome of a teacher she is. I used to watch youtube videos to try to learn how to play a song on the piano. I am now able to read notes and play some of my favorite pieces. I definitely would not have been able to do any of this without the help of Ms C. She is super patient and her overall way of teaching you to play the piano is indescribable. You really just have to witness it for yourself. Only a really great teacher could make you want to go home and practice right after a lesson.

I started my daughter at age 7 and she studied with Miss Cheryl for 5 years. It was the most amazing experience for my daughter and the program is well defined and Miss Cheryl is an amazing teacher. Now that my daughter is 16 years old and considering music education I look back and credit Miss Cheryl for giving my daughter the gift of music and the early education that put my daughter years ahead of other students at our schools music program.

A talented musician and a skilled teacher, Cheryl is dedicated to supporting her students’ growth and success. She offers customized lessons based on individual needs and goals, all within a pleasant studio environment. As an adult learner brand new to playing an instrument, I appreciate Cheryl’s (years of) experience, enthusiasm, patience, high expectations, creativity, and flexibility. I have taken lessons from Cheryl for a year and a half and, in that time, her expertise has guided me from piano basics to now reading music and teaching myself songs (with her stewardship, of course). Cheryl is an excellent teacher and a lovely woman. I would not hesitate to recommend her.

I have been taking lessons for a few years with Cheryl and I hope to take lessons as long as I am able. As an adult student, things don't come as quickly to me but Cheryl is very patient, kind and encouraging. She challenges my ability and keeps me moving forward musically.

Cheryl Woodford has been a wonderful piano teacher for my 7-year-old son. My son sometimes has trouble following instructions at school, which was a concern when he first started piano lesson with Cheryl. Cheryl has her own great way of teaching and giving instructions, kind and firm at the same time. My son is doing very well with her. I highly recommend Chery Woodford's hands together piano studio.
