The cleanliness of our room was immaculate! Everything was 100% sanitary and satisfactory. The towels and shower were amazing! The location is perfect. Pretty much all of the shops are in walking distance! You can get to the Buttonwood Grill right from the lobby which was incredibly warm and cozy. The wifi isn't the best, but it works and I was able to run my online Dungeons and Dragons game just fine. The staff was incredibly friendly and helped us quickly when we locked ourselves out of our room by mistake. They have pretty much everything you need for a comfortable stay.
Suggestion: The extra blanket provided in the closet was made of a rougher material that I did not particularly enjoy. Other than that, the bed was quite comfortable.
This review is not about hotel, which I am sure is great, but about their restaurant only. Every time we visit Peddler's Village, we eat at this place. There are few other dining options, but we either don't like the items on the menu selection or the price. This place in the Golden Plough Inn is fantastic. They have nice selection for everyone and we have tries most things on the menu over the years. This year we have been there 3 times, tried variety of appetizers and main courses and all was to our satisfaction. The service was always great and friendly. Always a wonderful experience and most of all, we like how to treat the customers, as they should be everywhere else. The host tells you the wait is 1 hour and sits you in about 30 minutes or less, and not the other way around as some places still do. Great overall experience every single time.
Second time staying here for the apple festival with my wife. The room was in the main building which was great for a central location for all of the shops. Our one gripe was that we reserved a room with a king sized bed. We definitely did not get a king sized bed which was disappointing, in fact my feet were off the end of the bed and I am only 6 feet tall. Having a reserved parking spot is key when the town is busy. I think next time we may try a room above one of the store.
