Gladwyne Fire Co

We are so grateful to the Gladwyne Fire Company, who hosted our young child's birthday party. Parties take place in the bay, next to the fire trucks, and (supervised) kids can roam around and see the fire trucks, fire boats, and other equipment. Two fantastic volunteer firefighters showed the kids the equipment, let them sit in the trucks, and helped them spray the fire hose. The fire dog, Rowdy, was also around to say hello. It was an incredibly fun party and the people at the station couldn't be nicer. Thank you for an awesome birthday party experience!

This morning at 6:00 am our smoke alarm was triggered by smoke from the attic. The Gladwyne Fire Department responded quickly and immediately diagnosed the problem, a short in the HVAC motor. They advised us on how to address the problem and helped us to eliminate the smoke. We are so grateful for their exceptional response.

Birthday parties here are always fun -- we just hosted one today, and the firemen -- both over the phone and the ones onsite in charge of the party -- were amazing. Highly recommend!!
