Mike helped me buy my first home in 2020, so it was an obvious decision to have him sell it in 2023. Such a great man and his daughter Bonnie was a wonderful help as well. Equity has been in business for years and Mike knows the market and how to get you what you need/deserve. Nothing but positive things to say about this company.

I was very happy with the service provided by Equity Real Estate when I was looking for a new home. When I first met with Mike Bowen, the broker at Equity, I discussed with him the type of house I was looking for that was close to my work and my price range. He listened intently, asking questions to understand what I was looking for. He showed me a house, answered my questions and pointed out the property’s features. He only needed to show me one house as he knew exactly what I was looking for. Mike was there every step of the process, from making an offer to the key to my new home in my hand.

I just bought a house down in South Jersey thanks to Mike and his team. I left an online message for them on a Sunday. Within half an hour Mike had already called me to discuss a property I was looking at. Not only that, but 2 hours later I get another call from him saying he drove past the property and confirmed it was in a good area and the property looked well kept.

I viewed this property with him, and he gave me some info on the area, as he seems to know everyone within a 10 mile radius. He was very professional, and not once in the entire process was he trying to "sell" me a house. He was even ready for me to walk away from the deal entirely based on some rude communication from the seller's agent. He made it clear that he was in this business to find the right home for me.

In terms of the buying process, Mike guided me through the whole thing since this was my first time buying a house. Like I said before, he had "a guy" for everything. Mortgage broker, insurance (shout out to his daughter Bonnie for making that the easiest process it could be with First Broker's Insurance), and title company. However, he never pushed me to use those businesses that he suggested. He simply gave them as an option. Regardless, all of them were super helpful and worked seamlessly with Mike and his team.

Mike was easy to get in touch with, and always called back regardless of the time. I highly recommend Equity real estate to anyone in the area looking to buy or sell real estate.

Carolyn Cloud at Equity Real Estate is amazing!! She was so extremely helpful in both buying and selling and was able to help us get a great price for our home. She was not only professional and on top of every piece of paperwork or issue that arose, but she was also very considerate through both the process of home buying during a pandemic and having a newborn. We will definitely be using Carolyn again should we be buying or selling in the future!

We were moving from Virginia. Mike Bowen was referred to me by my sister-in-law because I did not know any real estate agents in New Jersey. He showed us two houses but our house in Virginia was already sold and we needed to move quickly. We didn't have time for the normal processing of the financing. Mike not only found us a house we liked, but was able to negotiate with the seller and get us reasonable seller financing. He handled the terms of the financing and obtained all the necessary paperwork like the deed, CO inspection and property inspections that were required by the municipality. He was able to do all this in a timely fashion and we were able to get settled into the house in time for my kids to start school. I was impressed with Mike's experience and knowledge of all aspects of the real estate industry. I recommend Mike Bowen and Equity Real Estate for any real estate needs you have. He really helped my family when we needed it.
