Ellen works with my 95-year-old mother-in-law as a health and wellness specialist. Their sessions include balance training, working with the stationery bike and arm bike, and with light weights. The exercises focus on below the shoulder work and Ellen is careful not have my mother-in-law lift weights above her head. They also do band activation as part of their balance training work. This is the first time my mother-in-law has engaged a health and wellness specialist so she was very nervous at first. Ellen immediately made her feel comfortable and capable. Now, my mother-in-law tells me that Ellen really knows what she’s doing and is pleasant and understanding to work with. I'm 87 (what Ellen calls a "Super Senior") and I want to maintain my independence and good health. Working out weekly with Ellen has improved my strength, flexibility and stamina. She focuses on exercises that are relevant to my daily life. I appreciate the equipment she has introduced me to and the variety of exercises she presents during our sessions. Ellen is cheerful, patient and reliable. I'm fortunate to have her as my trainer.
I could not be more delighted with the rapid progress I am making in recovering physical fitness with Ellen as trainer. She is outstanding at listening to one's issues and adjusting her routine to optimize my training. In each bi-weekly 1 hr training session, she covers stretching/flexibility, cardio and strength exercises in an age-appropriate manner that does not endanger or exhaust. Rather her program challenges and stimulates the body to gain significant fitness with each session. Her expertise in anatomy, and a multitude of exercise routines certainly shows in her tailored approach.

I'm excited to be exercising regularly again after leaving the gym due to Covid. Ellen is vaccinated and boosted and I feel safe with her. Since January 4 my husband and I have had sessions twice a week with Ellen and she hasn't repeated herself once. In 8 sessions my balance has improved to the point that I can stand on one leg in the shower to soap up my legs and to dry my legs. Before Ellen I had to brace myself on the shower wall. Wonderful!!
I’ve worked with Ellen for a while now and I can’t say enough good things about her. I’m in my late 50’s and I suffer with chronic lower back and neck pain. Ellen has really helped me find a workout routine that works for me. She’s very knowledgeable about which exercises are good for me and has taught me to always think about my posture. With Ellen’s help we’re working on my range of motion, which is getting so much better. She’s shown me how to get a great workout, without the pain. I highly recommend her.
I have known Ellen Regenbogen for many years on a personal and business basis. She was my personal fitness instructor for several years and I found her to be an excellent trainer, able to design customized exercise regimes and very knowledgeable abut the mechanics of the body. She has a very nice personal touch and demeanor and does not push clients too hard. I highly recommend Ellen and note that she is a certified health and fitness instructor, certified master trainer and has the ability to work with older clients as part of her Silver Sneakers background.
