Delmont Apartments

Delmont Apartments has many pros. Spacious, newly renovated apartments, new appliances, lots of storage, friendly & knowledgeable maintenance staff, walking distance to just about everything you could ever need, close to all major highways and in a safe, quiet community.

The one con Delmont Apartments has is with the valet trash service. We are charged an additional $35 a month to have this valet trash service. While the idea behind it sounds great, the reality is that the trash is almost never picked up when it's supposed to be. Additionally, there are many rules surrounding what can and can't be picked up and the times as to when your trash can should be outside your apartment. If your trash can is outside your apartment at the wrong time, you run the risk of being fined $50 by Friedman Realty Group. The fine could be understandable except for the fact that the only reason the trashcan is still sitting in the hallway is because the valet trash company hasn't picked it up for several days. I know that this isn't necessarily a reflection of Friedman Realty Group and rather an issue with the trash company but at this rate I wish we could do away with the valet trash altogether. Way too much money, time and effort is going into making sure I'm abiding by all the rules when I can simply walk my trash to one of the six dumpsters on the property and have it all taken care of in five minutes (which is typically what I end up doing because the trash company hasn't shown up).

One other thing to note to potential future residents: watch the rates of the apartments closely. I wish I would have done that. I signed my lease for a 1BR/1BR apartment for $1895 a month and now see that the same size apartments are going for about $1675 to start. I guess a lot of it probably has to do with market supply and demand but it's always a bummer to see a drastic price difference like that. Hopefully when our lease renewal comes around, we won't see a crazy increase as I really do like the apartment and the community and would hate to have to find somewhere else to live.

We love the newly renovated apartment complex! Great place to stay with lovely neighbors. Nice neighborhood to raise kids and an excellent school district. Management and staff are very polite and friendly. Any issues or concerns are addressed in a timely manner. Price for apartments are very reasonable, I would highly recommend moving here!
