CrossFit 1Force

When I stepped into @crossfit1force two years ago, I didn’t know what to expect. Sure, I was looking for a new fitness challenge, but just the idea of #crossfit was pretty intimidating. From day 1, I knew I had stepped into a special place. Every single coach is more than a master at their craft; their steady encouragement and instruction did more than help me become stronger—they all made me feel like I belonged there. I can now box jump a 20-inch box, when the 12-inch used to scare me. When I started, I could deadlift 55#, I can now deadlifted 145#. I’m working on getting toes-to-bar, and I will be downright thrilled when I finally do an unassisted pull-up, a feat I’ve never done in my entire life. (I plan on recording that for posterity.) I started with Crossfit about 2 years ago and tried two other boxes before joining here. I emailed one of the coaches and discussed my goals . I started with a free week and found the joy in the sport. All the coaches have unbelievable amount of knowledge.

The 8:30pm class Monday - Thursday is a great addition that most crossfit gyms do not have in this area as well as different classes (strongman, circuit, endurance, gymnastics and crossfit kids) allows you to become a perfect athlete.

Since joining 1Force, I have brought on board a few people who also become as hooked as myself. I can not thank you 1Force enough for helping me succeed in my fitness journey. The coaches make any member feel like family, which is a great feeling when you are new to the sport and will give you nutritional advise and coach you with movements to succeed.

The work outs are always different so you are targeting every muscle and will always leave satisfied in what the class offers. With in a short 4 months I have lost about 30 lbs and almost 5 inches on my waist, and I all it all to Crossfit 1Force!

I have been going to 1Force for over five years now and would recommend it to anyone. It is not just a Crossfit gym....it is one of the most inspiring places I have ever been. When you walk into those doors, you become family. Everyone is rooting for you no matter how small or large your goals are.
In addition to a flexible class schedule, they offer nutritional counseling, yearly weight-loss challenges, in-house competitions, mobility advice, a variety of classes aimed to work on specific skills (gymnastics, barbell work, endurance). They also have an in-house massage therapist.
I was never an "athlete" and exercising was always a chore that I did not look forward to. However, since joining 1Force, I look forward to going to the box and working out with my extended family. I feel better than I have since I was in high school! The workouts always offer a ton of variety that keep it fun. I love this place!

1Force is an incredible community- not only due to the friends that you make but the coaching and facility are top notch! 1Force takes the time to truly educate and train their coaching staff to ensure the fun and safety of every member. Programming here is excellent and drives results- if you're looking for a life changing experience- look no further!

Crossfit 1Force's staff and members are super welcoming, their huge warehouse has top-notch equiptment and the best programming around! This place is what got me hooked on Crossfit and I would highly recommend Crossfit 1Force to anyone visiting the SJ area or looking to get in shape, while also becoming part of a close-knit community!
