Nice easy walking tracks with reasonable accessibility for strollers and wheelchairs. Never see any animals, but it is a pretty spot with interesting exhibits inside the visitor centre.
Wow this was a great find, enjoyed our
Visit with my toddler a lot! Nice paths, bird watching, butterfly garden, play area with sandbox, and a great nature center with cozy library and real snakes. Definitely will come back for the Lenape Village opening. The only thing i would add is a swing in the children’s area.
Serenity is a good word... It is a preserve, so it is kept really well and you can see nature at its best. There are a few areas - the Indian village which was closed(blame Covid), the bird watching area - one can find some pretty cool photo ops here, the board walk, the trails, the garden, which is phenomenal and the plant sale! I love this place for an afternoon stroll, enjoy the beautiful lake views and take in nature as best as you can! Highly recommend!
Great trails and alot of nature to be seen. We saw a bluejay, woodpecker and 3 small snakes just to name a few. Plenty of parking, first time going inside the nature center and was plenty to see and do. Would highly recommend. My 3 year old loved it.
We had a party for my 4 year old there and it went extremely smoothly and the kids had a great time. After our allotted time was over we hung out at the playground for a bit; it was a muddy dream come true for a bunch of sugar blasted kids. The actual center is so, so, cool and I'm eager to get back and explore on a not so hectic day. Staff was exceptionally friendly, helpful, and professional.
