I have referred multiple friends to Caring Friends at Home and Patty Grace when they have been in need of care. They spend the time to truly understand the needs of an individual and their family to provide the best care arrangement possible. The patients from Suburban Geriatrics physician practice who have used them provide glowing comments on their service. The caregivers are engaging, attentive & went above what was expected!

Caring Friends caregivers have been caring for my elderly parents in their home for a year and a half. The caregivers are unfailingly kind, respectful, highly competent, reliable, and honest. One of them saw my parents through COVID-19 infections, caring for both parents (each with multiple medical issues in addition to COVID) on her own for three weeks, 24/7. The nurse who oversees the caregivers and medications is dedicated, highly skilled, and cares deeply about her patients. When my stepmom (who has dementia) decided she didn't like one of the caregivers, that caregiver was reassigned and a different one was immediately assigned with no drama or fuss. Along with the Executive Director, Jennifer, we have all been through some very stressful times together. I would highly recommend Caring Friends to any family looking for reliability, competence, and peace of mind.

During the four years that home aides from Caring Friends Home Care helped my wife, Nancy, as she moved through the final stages of Parkinson’s Disease, one theme characterized all of our experiences: Respect. The aides displayed a respectful manner as they provided Nancy assistance with daily living activities. They were kind and professional. The aides showed great courtesy to me, the spouse, and gave me guidance based on their experience with other clients dealing with healthcare challenges. And all of the aides treated our home with respect and were very mindful that we were all sharing the same space. It would have been very difficult for Nancy and I to manage the way through her final journey without having quality home aides. And having aides from Caring Friends was like having family.

Caring Friends Home Care has been nothing short of phenomenal in helping my 90 year old loved one maintain her independence at home! Not only have they organized coverage, the Caring Friends staff have assembled a team of compatible caregivers who "get" their client (who is 100% capable - in mental terms - but fragile, physically, and hard-of-hearing). The caregivers show respect and consideration as they truly support my loved one, and do things, as much as possible, according to her timing, in her way, and at her very slow speed. I am so appreciative of the Caring Friends folks, and wish that all care-giving organizations, and all caregivers, would take a page out of the Caring Friends "book"!
