I could not be happier from the kind service, to the patience of the eye doctor and employees, to the help I received. My eye exam was quick yet thorough, and the doctor took the time to ensure the correct lenses worked for me. It was easy to order my contacts with Kate after my exam, too. Just an all around enjoyable experience!

Recently finished a wonderful tour of the Dolomites with Dan and David. The tour was well organized with constant attention to making sure we were at the right place at the right time for the best photos. Accommodations were comfortable, clean and well suited for a tour like this. The highlight of the week was obviously the amazing scenery. The planned photo opportunities were varied between mountain vistas, beautiful valleys, lakes, and nighttime milky way shoots. Throughout the trip, Dan and David provided excellent tips and instruction for getting the best photos of the subjects. This was my second tour with Capture the Atlas, and both have been amazing experiences.

The Dr was patient and informed. She answered all my questions and shared her thoughts on my eye health with me, and Eileen is always the best. Eileen is the reason I keep coming back! Great team.

Dan and David are excellent instructors, navigators, and planners! I was on the Swiss & French Alps Tour. The seasonal timing of this trip was perfect. The Fall colors were peaking throughout the trip. When we were in the mountains, we had partly to mostly cloudy skies, which are ideal for dramatic photos. David knows this area very well and is an expert photographer and guide. Suppose the weather looks like it's not going to help produce the best photos for the group. In that case, David will get with Dan to discuss moving destinations around, and they would explain to the group why they need to change the destination for that part of the day temporarily, and then we would go to the next great location. If you didn't know how to compose your shot or weren't sure which camera setting would be right, or perhaps you're not sure how to bracket or use focus stacking, David or Dan would show you. This is a very professional photo tour with a lot of "wow" views, education, and a lot of smiles. Dan and David make it fun.

I had an amazing experience with Capture the Atlas in Iceland. The trip was well-planned and our professional guides David Aguilar and Jose Luis Cantabrana were fantastic coaches and always available to help. When the weather didn't cooperate, we made great use of the time doing training and photo editing. Dan Zafra also spend a night with our team and took the time to meet us and ask about the trip. They all love what they do, love their work, are great with people, and it shows! I can't wait to go on another trip!

Dan - What a memorable tour of Iceland Sept 2022 !!

This tour was one of the best tours that I had ever taken and I thoroughly enjoyed travelling with you and Prince. You and Prince had been super great in providing all the technical information and composition of taking good photographs and helping everybody in the group. Your guidance and patience was quite remarkable and very well appreciated. Now I have much better understanding of shutter speed, aperture and ISO settings than I ever had before. Prince and you gave a very useful tutorial about photo editing with Photoshop and Lightroom. I look forward to take another tour with you in near future.

I had wonderful experience. Staff is very welcoming especially Jossie was amazing. She helped me from selecting glasses to final check out and explained all my selections choice features in detail. Definitely I am coming back

I had the great pleasure of touring Iceland with Dan and Capture the Atlas in September 2021, and it far surpassed all of my expectations. I chose the two week excursion which covered both the north and south of Iceland, and it did not disappoint. The trip was extremely well organized and never having been on a photo tour before, I didn’t realize just how much I would be learning about landscape composition and astrophotography—not to mention my own camera. It was amazing. Dan was relentless in his desire to chase the Aurora for us, and despite very questionable weather, we were lucky enough to have been able to capture it on two different occasions. For me, that was a bucket list item, so I was thrilled.

I so enjoyed Dan, his colleague Dani, and the wonderful people I met on the trip that I’ve signed on to the Death Valley & Alabama Hills workshop this spring (2022) to learn more about astrophotography. I have no doubt that this opportunity will be as phenomenal as the last, and I cannot recommend Capture the Atlas tours enough!
