Bruce Menkowitz, MD

So sad to hear that Dr. Menkowitz is no longer doing surgeries. He did refer me to another orthopedic surgeon who talked to me about my next hip replacement😷🦵👩‍🦽

Dr. Menkowitz has been my orthopedic surgeon since the early 1990's. He later performed three hip replacements for me (2001, 2002, & 2016). He's always been very caring and attentive. He has an excellent reputation and attitude toward his patients. He is great with medication management and follow-up care. He is professional and knowledgeable about various types of joint pain and joint replacements. Dr. Menkowitz essentially gave me a new life where I can walk without pain and enjoy time with my children and grandchildren. In regards to wait times at appointments, he is worth the wait. Call the office a couple hours prior to appointment time and they will tell you when to come in so you don't have to wait so long.

Dr. Menkowitz is a fantastic doctor. He has done surgery on myself as well as my wife. Today my wife had to see him for her knee. He diagnosed the problem and had a solution for her right a way. I would not go to any other doctor. People will say his wait time is long and I agree. The reason is because he is one of the best if not the best in the area.

Dr. Menkowitz did both my knees. He communicated with me to allay my fears. His easy going manner really helped me the day of surgery. My recuperation has been pretty fast. 7 days after surgery, I am walking short distances without a cane or a walker. Also, I like the zip-line closure he used instead of staples or sutures. I should have minimal scarring. You have to check in with the office to see if your appointment will be on time. However, when you're with Dr. Menkowitz, you have his complete attention. He never rushes you out. I write down all my questions in advance. He will take the time to answer them all.
