Briarwood Day Camp

My kids (2nd and 5th grade) experienced Briarwood for the first time this summer and had the time of their lives! In the past we did different weekly camps, which was stressful from a logistical standpoint and created a disjointed summer schedule. We heard wonderful things about Briarwood and decided to give it a try. From day one, my kids came home happy, tired, and excited for the next day. They made new friends, tried new things (fishing! rock climbing!), and got to enjoy a "real" camp experience. Each day they came home telling stories about their day...dinner time conversation was easy as they took turns sharing about their activities and fun stories from camp. Their counselors and CITs were so kind, communicative, and FUN! My son was especially enamored with the older boys and loved competing in the league championship in the upper camp. My daughter loved art and ceramics but was super proud of herself for learning to climb the rock wall (and zip line to the bottom!). My only regret for the summer is that I couldn't join them!! We will be back next year (already registered) and plan to return each year after that. I rarely rave about my experience, but I promise you, Briarwood is worth every penny. The joy on my kids' faces as they talked about their "perfect summer" is priceless.

I am so jealous of my kids going to Briarwood. They are so excited to go every morning and sad when they leave in the evening. They are outside all day having fun, becoming more active and learning valuable skills. Our kids are swimming, fishing, boating, archery, rock climbing, zip lining, player soccer, basketball, mini golf, arts and crafts, etc.

Staff is incredibly nice, friendly and trustworthy from the owners, workers, counselors and junior staff. Cool feature is that there are pictures posted every day so you can see the fun everyone is having.

It's our first summer camp experience, but we are confident Briarwood was the best choice for us and the kids.

We love Briarwood! Our daughter went to Briarwood for several years and loved going there each and every day of the summer. She made great friends at Briarwood, had so much fun swimming, playing sports and doing lots of other fun activities. Arts and crafts was one of her favorites. The owners and the staff are awesome. They are so on top of things. They run a great camp and make it so much fun for the kids and so easy for the parents. Transportation is provided to and from the camp which is so helpful.
