Our house is approximately 20 yrs old. Our builder was "not the best" to to put it mildly.. We had a major beam in the house rotted in less than 10 yrs. Our "New Home Warranty " stated that they would replace the beam but would not replace the doors and windows which were rotting and had caused the beam to rot, since they were not "structural".

I had hired a number of contractors to fix the leaks and none of them did a decent job. One said he had our kitchen sliders fixed and a day later, I realized that I could actually see daylight between the wood door base and the floor. It was rotted completely through. How he missed that, I don't know. I had told him that if we needed a new door, to install one.

Brian had worked on my daughter's new house when it was built, so I marched myself over there and looked at the windows and doors when they were installing them and called my brother who is a contractor in FL and asked if that was the right way to install them. He said yes, so I hired Brian.

Brian and his men worked non stop on the house. Did a great job, were clean and neat and very easy to talk with. We discussed different options and he would tell me the pros and cons of each. Brian, my brother and I had discussions about everything before it was done. He highly suggested that I do certain things that I was not going to do. My brother agreed with him and I did them and I'm very glad that I did. He was very patient with me while I checked everything out with my brother.

You could put a candle by our old doors and the draft would blow it out. Our new doors and windows are extremely tight. There are no gaps by the sills, etc. The house is much warmer.

We have a horse farm and when a contractor built a house across the street, our pastures were always filled with trash and construction materials etc. that blew across and into my pastures. I never had any problem when Brian was here.

We had him add a deck and sunroom which we love.. We had one manufacturer's problem and he totally took care of it. I am having him do some other work on our horse barn now. I would highly recommend Brian to anyone. I was really frustrated with about 5 other contractors that I had had over the years trying to get everything fixed properly. He did a great job and I believe that IF any problem arose in the future that he would be here to take care of it. He was great.
