This school is amazing! I have 3 children attending and have seen them grow so much not only academically, but spiritually and socially. The teachers are great and care for each child individually, and are always in communication with parents as to what's happening in the classroom. They have so much to offer in helping your child grow!
Ambassador Christian Academy has been a huge blessing to my family and has provided exactly what my children were needing… a safe, loving and Christ-filled place to get their education. Their staff has been fabulous during our transition year into the school and I pray that we can continue to send them for their whole time. (I would LOVE for them to branch out to include High School! Hint hint😉). I have and will continue to recommend this treasure of a school!
This will be my third year as an ACA teacher. I am also a parent of a middle schooler at ACA. I cannot be any happier with ACA. When we first came to ACA, administration and teachers welcomed me and my son with open arms. I have worked in Christian education for most of my teaching career and one of the things that stands out to me about ACA is the fact that they put God first and foremost. We are a team at ACA with an administration that supports us in and out of the classroom. In elementary, we follow a vigorous and thorough Christian school curriculum in English Language Arts, Science, and Social Studies. As a first-grade teacher, I highly recommend the Abeka curriculum for phonics and reading because it not only teaches my students how to read but it also teaches them to decode and comprehend words and stories. My son started at ACA in sixth grade and he will be entering his eighth-grade year this fall. He loves his teachers and his friends. He enjoys the extracurricular activities like the monthly field trips, basketball, track, and his guitar lessons. He has thrived in the ACA middle school because his teachers take the time to get to know him and see where he needs help. The smaller classroom sizes are an ideal environment because the teachers can spend more time one on one with his/her students. Lastly, we all know that 2020/2021 was tough year because of COVID and when most public schools were either part time or completely online, ACA provided a safe and healthy environment for their staff, students, and families. We were face to face and full time for the whole entire year with no closures. ACA Eagles are soaring and ready for another great school year!
I have been blessed to have worked at ACA for the past eight years: for four years as a fifth-grade teacher and for four years as the middle school English language arts teacher. I absolutely love the families, coworkers, and administrators that I get to work with. Together, we form a team whose purpose is to nurture and challenge all of our students spiritually, academically, socially, and physically. As a teacher, I have the freedom to work creatively with my students and help them pursue their interests while also meeting high academic standards. Our graduating students are routinely accepted into honors programs and attend prestigious high schools. My former students come back and tell me they were prepared for high school and they're thankful for the time they had at ACA.
