Vera is a god send!! I found her through LCs at my hospital recommending her. She worked with my son and I up until he was about 4 months. I would’ve given up BF month one, if it wasn’t for Vera. She calmed my nerves and treated my son like he was her own! After each of our meetings I always felt less stressed and reinvigorated to handle breast feeding! Vera is super knowledgeable, patient and calm. I’d recommend her to any mama struggling, or just needing that extra boost. It’s so comforting knowing she’s just a text or phone call away. As a first time mom, I found comfort in working with Vera to be sure I was giving my baby all that I could and know that I was doing a great job at it. Vera is thorough with her patients, she provides encouragement and support during the hardest postpartum weeks. Vera’s kindness and gentle personality shines threw her and is contagious! Vera goes above and beyond to meet the needs of her patients including working with dad on some techniques as well. My husband and I are eternally grateful for Vera and her services and we will definitely be using her in the future as our family continues to grow! My son loved every visit with her. She truly is an Angel in disguise.

Vera is a master of her craft. She is extremely knowledgeable, kind, nurturing, and supportive. I first met Vera in the hospital for a breastfeeding consult after delivery, and was delighted to find out that she was in-network for home visits through my insurance. Scheduling appointments with Vera was a breeze. She brings a scale with her in order to perform a weighted feed during the appointment, which I found reassuring as my baby initially struggled with weight gain. We covered many issues during her weekly visits… latching, positioning, using a nipple shield, selecting the right flange size, how to increase supply, storing breast milk, weaning from the nipple shield, preventing mastitis, etc. Vera taught me how to use the haaka, a manual pump, and an electric pump during her visits. I enjoyed her visits and always felt empowered and uplifted. Vera was instrumental to my breastfeeding success. Thank you Vera!

I first met Vera in the hospital when I had my son. I was new to breastfeeding and extremely nervous that my son wasn’t eating enough and that I was doing something wrong. Vera eased my nerves and answered my questions thoroughly. She has done multiple home visits to help me through this journey and is always available to answer my questions. I don’t know if I could have made it this far without her. I wanted to quit the first week and now I am 6 months into it. Simply the best. My husband and I got very lucky to meet her right at the hospital. We did see other lactation specialists in a recovery room, but their services did not help us. Vera physically showed us everything without any typical lecture based on a theory. I love the fact that she does things fast, and my baby is always calm and smiley around her. Her magic hands latched my baby immediately when I could not do it for 2 days. Another important thing is that Vera is a doctor who I trust with other health related questions especially when I know that I will see my pediatrician in two months.
